Persicopo Publications have released a range of reference books relating to equipment and units of the modern Greek Army and Air Force. Three of the aircraft books are examined in this review.

Each book is soft cover, and published in full colour on high quality glossy paper. The books are all packed with excellent in-action and detail photos of their subject matter. It is interesting to see these familiar aircraft in the relatively rare Greek markings.

The Mirage book includes 166 unique colour photographs and plans. This is a wonderful reference for anybody building the Revell or Heller Mirage 2000 kits in 1/48 scale with details of seats, weapons, instruments and a multitude of other details.

The F-16 book is similarly packed with 165 colour photos. These include some interesting three-colour wraparound schemes in flight. I wish I could read that Greek text for more detail, but the photos tell an eloquent story themselves.

The Apache book follows the same useful formula but adds English captions. This is a great help for non-Greek readers.

These will be highly valued references for enthusiasts and modellers of the F-16, Mirage 2000 and AH-64+, even if they do not read Greek.

Recommended.
