Simple ideas often take the longest to come to the fore.

Gunsights supplied in model kits are often underdetailed styrene blobs. This is a pity, as they are usually prominently located under the clear windscreen.

Cutting Edge has addressed this shortcoming with a range of gunsights for Luftwaffe, British WWII, American WWII and postwar gunsights. I see on Meteor Productions' website that a Russian gunsight is available now too. Each set includes two gunsights. The quality of these small gunsights is well up the high standards of Cutting Edge's accuracy and flawless casting.

My only criticism is the lack of instructions. It would be nice to have placement diagrams for the size and angle of reflector glass and shading lenses; and mounting details.

These gunsights will be a welcome finishing touch for a very wide range of models.
