Although the wheel well of Hasegawa’s 1/48 scale Hurricane is quite nicely detailed, it suffers from four big ejector pin holes that will be almost impossible to deal with due to their recessed position and proximity to raised features. 

Ultracast has produced a simple replacement wheel well that will be suitable for all of Hasegawa Hurricane family. This is a simple drop-fit replacement for the kit wheel well. The detail is a slight improvement over the kit wheel well (being somewhat finer). The resin covering the inspection panels from the cockpit is so thin that I would recommend using a sharp hobby knife to open them up. However, the real benefit of this accessory is the absence of the big ejector marks! 

If you ever turn your models upside down, Ultracast’s wheel well will be important for your 1/48 scale Hasegawa Hurricane.
