This is the icing on the cake for anyone who wants to finish off their Monogram Me-410 project with a jewel. These exhaust pipes are done using a cast metal process that produces a hollow exhaust pipe with an extremely thin wall section. To hollow out the kit pipes to this standard would take hours of work and still probably not finish with the same result. These metal pipes are also treated to give a realistic burned metal look.

I first ran across these at the 1998 IPMS/USA convention at Santa Clara, California. They were causing quite a stir amongst the aircraft and armor builders. Coming from Russia, delivery seems to be slow and spotty. However the product is worth the wait. Experience shows that these parts can be delicate to work with and subject to marring the finish with scratches or finger prints. Should the finish be damaged merely put the part in an oven under very low heat and check the finish until the damaged area has repaired itself. Needless to say, be very careful of the heat level or you may be using words that need explaining to the younger members of the household.

This product can be highly recommended to anyone wanting to add that special little finishing touch to their 410 or a number of other projects.
