FirstLook

These sets represent a new way to depict formation and navigation lights on a wide variety of model aircraft.

The first set comprises one clear and three coloured sprues with various thicknesses of plastic stock. This plain stock will be ideal for wingtip navigation lights that are integrated with the wing profile. Simply chop off a small chunk of appropriately coloured plastic, paint the kit part behind the light, attach the stock with two-part epoxy (or your favourite glue), sand to shape and polish. Voila! A perfect wingtip light!

The second set also comprises one clear and three coloured sprues. This time, each sprue sprouts 24 different shaped navigation and formation lights. There is an impressive range of sizes and shapes. The main shapes are domes and teardrops. The application of these lights are even more straightforward than the first set. Simply slice off a light and glue it on. Although this set specifies that it is designed for 1/48 scale, it will also be applicable to 1/72 scale due to the good size range.

In addition to the clear sprue, the other colours supplied are red, yellow and green. These will cater to almost all common modelling subjects.

Your coloured toothbrush handles will no longer need to be sacrificed to the greater cause of modelling if you purchase these new Cutting Edge lights. It'll be cheaper than four toothbrushes too!
